The Brown book: Voice of Young Pakistani and Muslim Activist from Toronto and Lahore by Shakil Choudhury

The Brown book by Shakil Choudhury published in 2000 is a compilation of personal accounts by individuals (young men and women) from the Muslim and Pakistani community in Lahore, Pakistan and Toronto, Canada. The Brown book addresses stereotypes associated with South Asians, and the portrayal of South Asians in popular media. The Brown book seeks to eliminate stereotypes of South Asian community /culture through awareness and education.
